Domaine Jean Collet et Fils own some 40 hectares which they farm mainly organically, and the rest is in organic conversion. The Collet family are great friends of Christian and Fabien Moreau. Romain Collet represents the new generation in charge of the Domaine. We met Romain two years ago at the Organic Wine Fair in Montpellier and seeing such a tiny vintage in 2021, we decided we must take on another Domaine.
100% Chardonnay Blanc de Blancs , from a parcel of vines on the plateau near Villy, hand picked and Champagne method. Aged for minimum 2 years ‘sur lattes’, low dosage 4.5 g per litre, very fine and deliciously dry, perfect for an aperitif!
