Domaine du Changeon is an exciting new estate in Bourgueil, founded by David Ledoux after a twenty-year career in mechanical engineering. The property spans twelve hectares, with eleven dedicated to Cabernet Franc, and small plots of
Sauvignon Blanc and Chenin Blanc. The domaine, formerly known as Bruno Dufeu, takes its name from the Changeon river, a historic waterway that powered Bourgueil's mills and now symbolizes Ledoux’s fresh direction. Matured in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, this cuvée owes its deliciously fruity character to the carefully selected harvest date. The nose shows bright aromas of wild berries and raspberries, typical of the 2023 vintage. The palate is smooth
and full of fresh fruit, with a touch of sweet acidity, finishing with a pleasant hint of cherry.
